Despite starting to use the word globalization in economic context by Theodore Levitt in 1944, now days, it has various dimensions and it’s increasingly s popular subject. Indeed, it is a controversial issue. Many people support it. On the other hand, other people have opposed it. There are many aspects for globalization. Indeed, it has economic, culture, political, technological, educational, poverty and legal aspects.

We cannot ignore the ambiguous economic sequences of globalization. Every nation has a chain of companies, which cross the globe. Indeed, the world has exploded from these companies. For example, regardless if you are in the first, second or third world you can find Starbucks, McDonald, and Toyota. People became consumers for products for these companies.

The cultural dimensions of globalization are controversial issue. Many people believe in the good culture sequences for globalization. They believe the world becomes smaller and it is now as a small town. People now are more interested and ware about the other cultures. On the other hand, many people believe in the bad social sequences of the globalization. They believe the type of life is affected by globalization in a bad way. Indeed, the ways of eating, working and dealing with social life is completely different. For example, now people eat in hurry just to continue their work without tasting the food. Indeed, value of social relation is affected by globalization. They spend more time on the Internet than their family.

Many people who are against globalization believe that the dark side of globalization is the strong relationship between poverty or social justice and globalization. They believe the gap between the North and the South is still considerable. In the twenty- first century we still have people who suffer from poverty and diseases. Indeed, the South is still suffering from a lack of technology and development. Many people believe in the important role of globalization on reducing the gap between the South and the North. The tremendous number of international organizations and non-profit organizations indicate the effective role of globalization to reduce the poverty in the world. Indeed, we cannot forget the noticeable role of these organizations like: pan American Health Organization (PAHO), which is an international public health organization working to develop the living and health in countries. Of Americas. Also, we have World the Bank Group, which is an international organization providing the advice and finance to reduce poverty in the world. There are IDA, which is International Development Association, IBRD, which is International Bank for Reconstruction, develop and reduce the poverty to the middle-income countries. Globalization is a controversial issue. There fore, we have two opposite parties

There are political aspects of globalization. The globalization affects the political circumstances in each country. Indeed, each country regardless if it is in the First, Second or Third world, appeals to extend the space of freedom. The people in the Third world die to extend the space of the freedom in their countries, indeed they want to develop the quality and the quantity of the freedom like: freedom in speech, publish, politics, economic and so on. The democratic regime becomes the model regime for all citizens in the world. They believe in the democratic regime they can increase the limit of the freedom in quantity and in quality.

The physical and the noticeable dimension of globalization is the technological dimension. Now days we cannot live with out modern of technology. By using these technologies, our life became easier. Many people believe that we cannot live with out it. More over, by using Internet the world became small town. You can reach any person regardless the geographic distance. The flows of the information and knowledge in the world are great. By using various kinds of media, people have become aware of current events in other places. Therefore, the competition among media companies has become really hard. For all these reasons, we cannot ignore the technological dimension of globalization.

Another great dimension of globalization is the political aspect. Many people believe in the great role globalization plays in politics. The citizens in each country have been considered in the development in each era in various areas in the world. Citizens in all countries want to achieve a democratic regime. Indeed, they are attracted by it. They want to increase the freedom they have in the quality and quantity. On the other hand, many people believe in the bad effect of the globalization in the political stability. They think globalization made citizens critique their regime or current events in the world. It is normal that people have different opinion about globalization since it is a controversial issue.

There are different aspects of globalization as I mentioned above like the economic], political, and technological dimensions. Regardless if you are attracted to it or you are not it will be good if we deal with globalization as a realistic issue in the world. Nothing in life is completely black or white. Indeed, we always have many things in the middle.
